Abstract: The global tension state of social administration makes it urgent to study the theory of social management.China,a socialist country,should develop theory of social administration from Marxism theory.Marxism philosophical theory is developed from the criticism to the old western materialism and mentalism,so Marxism theory of social administration should also start with the criticism to traditional western theory of social administration.Based on Marxism practical philosophy,we should construct the dual dimension of Marxism theory of social administration from the point of practical duality.In this way,we can solve the division between reason and value in modern social management,and provide theoretical support for the practice in our country.
