Abstract: National cultural parks are innovative constructs based on systematic collation of Chinese culture,representing a new form of national public cultural space.They aim to carry forward China's fine traditional culture,forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,and shape a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation.As the core constituent of national cultural parks,culture is specifically manifested in the construction of national cultural symbols and the reproduction of cultural spaces.In practice,four key dimensions should be accurately grasped:cultural positioning,cultural foundation,cultural function,and cultural mission.In terms of positioning,culture serves as the spiritual foundation,distinctive characterization,and value yardstick of national cultural parks,fundamentally determining their core values.In terms of foundation,the organic unity of the spiritual roots of China's fine traditional culture,the red genes of CPC revolutionary culture,and the contemporary implications of advanced socialist culture jointly builds a solid cultural foundation for national cultural parks.In terms of function,national cultural parks extend cultural genes through cultural inheritance,promote public-oriented sharing of cultural resources through cultural services,and construct a systematic cultural meaning system via cultural narratives,so as to facilitate the transformation of cultural values.In terms of mission,they explore new pathways for the protection,inheritance,and utilization of cultural relics and cultural resources in the new era,and strengthen their functions in cultural heritage conservation,cultural identity cultivation,value dissemination,and innovation-driven development.
