Abstract: With approximately three-fifths of the Liye Qin bamboo slips now published, current transcriptions and annotations contain numerous challenging texts, including misinterpreted characters, archaic terms lacking interpretation, and disputed readings. This study selects ten representative examples and employs an integrated philological-historical methodology to provide mutually verifying interpretations.Key findings include:"为事" means "engaged in official duties";"山今" represents "山阴" (northern slope);"为连" corresponds to "为辇" (transport by carriage);"削廷" denotes "削铤" (sharpened arrowhead).Additionally,zi jian is a scribal error for shou bao (meaning to guard and protect)";"见徼" should not be interpreted as "见檄";"庾" functions as a graphic variant for "瘐" (illness);"主" serves as a phonetic loan for "注" (record)."裙直" refers to garment fabric, while "来复传" relates to official transportation. The study further examines the extravagance of the First Emperor's court life, the sophisticated textile techniques of the Wuling region ethnic groups, and the administrative realities of local governance in Qianling County.
