Abstract: According to the standard interpretation by international scholars, the meaning of a priori does not refer to the innate knowledge or changeless structure, but to the principles and laws of human sense, which are inborn and permanent. This interpretation is in accordance with Kant’s own thoughts. The interpretation that the concept of the a priori is the innate and changeless structure of human beings, put forward by Professor Deng Xiaomang,is incorrect.According to Kant, the structure of knowledge is constructed by a priori principles and laws in the sphere of time.
