Abstract: There is an absence of modernistic ethical appeal of individual freedom in the narrative ethics of Eros in contemporary Heluo literature. The narration of Eros is not only directly manifested as male physiological desire of female, covered with sociology and politics of the body, but is also presented as Foucault’s “sexuality”.Various ideology discourses are engrafted and piled on sex, leading to the concealment of its attribute. There is no individual or noumenon value of Eros in contemporary Heluo literature, which always falls to the “weighty flesh” under the pressure of bearing, money, power, and violence.
Key words: contemporary Heluo literature, narrative ethics, Eros, sexuality
