On the Protection and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Tourism Development——A Case Study of Tujia Nationality

Abstract: Due to the diversified forms of ethnic culture,ethnic cultural tourism also shows a feature of diversity and difference in time and space,which is presented in the existence of cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage.The historic effect of tourism development should cover the proper protection and utilization of ethnic cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage.Efforts should be to explore the relationship between the culture property and resource property of the cultural heritage.This paper analyzes the three connotations of historical remains,succession carriers and spirit in understanding intangible cultural heritage,and based on this,analyzes their local,national,comprehensive and successive features.Three principles are suggested in terms of effectiveness,fidelity and system,and ways of protection and utilization are presented emphasizing development space,succession mechanism and social value.
