Abstract: Discussions of historical philosophy on historical significance has undergone three stages of rediscovery,critical reflection and rational reconstruction.Though ideologists may differ in their ideas of historical significance,they all showed great moral concern to human history and destiny due to human nature.This is the reflection of self-transcendence and self-perfection of human beings,and the most direct reason is that moral value judgment is inevitable in historical research.
