Abstract: The Second and Sixth Armies of the Red Army (called the Second Front Army of the Red Army since July 1936) passed vast areas inhabited by ethnic minorities in the southwest and northwest during the Long March.Wherever they arrived,they paid great attention to the work concerning nationalities,thus they were warmly welcome and this ensured their victory.
