Abstract: Due to his excellent articles and pure morality,Ouyang Xiu was praised as a master scholar of generations.This paper analyzes three aesthetic traits of his prose,firstly,gracefulness and concinnity;secondly,simplicity and expressiveness;and thirdly,mild and natural style.The paper also analyzes the reasons why these traits are formed.
