Abstract: This paper analyzes the degrees of value,principle,and kindness that are embodied in several kinds of moral behavior,i.e.unselfish and altruistic,pure self-regarded,and self-regarded while being altruistic.A distinction is made between altruism,rational egoism,and individualism.The paper draws a conclusion that altruism,rational egoism,and individualism are nothing but exaggerated unilateral truth of the unselfish and altruistic behavior,self-regarded and altruistic behavior,and pure self-regarded behavior.
