Abstract: Cultural research is eternal for the anthropologists. However, culture is dynamic,so it is difficult to give an accordant definition to it.With the coming of information age, culture is given a new content—a man-made information system with human brain as its carrier, settled by acquisition, consistency, innovation, and reconstruction.Relying on this system, human beings can effectively control the orderly running of material and energy within the society, and assure the prosperity of cultural community.Because of this, the system will also represent a state of life existence.
Key words: culture,definition, information system
