Translation of Slogans and Public Signs:An Aesthetical Perspective

Abstract: Probing into the stylistic features of slogans and public signs,this thesis formulates the principles and strategies concerning their translation from an aesthetical point of view,namely,the beauty in faithfulness,equivalence and creativity.Backed with successful examples of translation,it provides a new perspective of research for the translation of slogans and public signs.
