An Investigation of the Local Administration Establishment in Tujia Nationality Regions in the Early Ming Dynasty

Abstract: An all-sided investigation is made of local administration establishments in the areas inhabited by Tujia people during the early period of Tang Dynasty. New findings have been achieved, eg. thousand-household administrative communities were set up in Guizhou. Some doubts which have long remained in history are thus cleared up.
