An Outline of Research on Eco-moral Education

Abstract: Eco-moral education is a new subject of the 21st century.It is not public moral education in general,but an attitude education of men toward nature in parallel with public moral education,a national and life-long education with a view to transforming environment values,remoulding eco-personality and raising eco-moral quality.Eco-moral education has its own theoretical basis,constitutional factors,developing mode,and its own functions and values.In terms of its social goal,it must serve the sustainable development of ecology,economy and society;in terms of its goal on individual man,it must help individual man cultivate an eco-consiousness and eco-personality,thus reaching the ideal realm of “man becoming an integral part of nature.”
