Abstract: Through an analysis of the changes and compositions of the fish mating designs on the Miao constume, this paper reveals that these designs symbolize the endless reproduction, reflecting the highly abst racted reproduction worship of the Miao people. This kind of design is meant to pray for the reproduction extension of the individual, the posterity thriving of the family, and the prosperity of the nationality.
