Abstract: One of the prominent distinctions of confucianis ts from other schools of thought was their advocation of adversity consciousness in life.As a value standard and a cultural trait of the Chinese nation, the adversity consciousnes s of confucianists is an expression of their moral responsibility and sense of mission. Its embodiment of humanism reflected their active participation in social life and their sense of responsibility towards society.
