Abstract: The polarization is referred to as the clas s splitting up based on the e xpansion of the gap between rich and poor . Commodity economy, private ownership of the means of production and capital accumulation are the necessary conditions for the formation and e xpansion of polarization. But there still exists the possibility of polarization in the socialist market-economy system.The fundamental way to prevent polarization is to adhere to public ownership and the policy of dis tribution according to work; besides, we should also take other relevant measures.
