Abstract: The exorcism gets extensive spread in southern China as an ancient primitive religious ritual activity,continuing up to now.Today,Huan Nuo Yuan in the western Hunan province has become a precious cultural heritage,and continues to maintain vigor and vitality.Yongping Waxiang folk customs of Huan Nuo Yuan in the western Hunan province is a ritual activity,taking the main form of worshiping.It is also a living culture to help the local people avoid a disaster and pray for good luck.It had been broken off after the Liberation and was resurrected as the Policy of Reforming and Opening up was carried out.In addition,it demonstrated not only its unique performance program and folk beliefs again,but also the dual pursuit of the sacred spiritual and secular life，and showed the characteristic that is contained in the mixture of the sacred and the secular.
