Technology Spillover and Firm’s Innovation：Evidence from Firm-Level Survey Data in China

Abstract

Abstract: Schumpeter established the framework for research in firm’s innovation.Although lots of researcher have extended Schumpeterian framework,few of them show interest in the impact of technology spillover on firm’s innovation.Technology spillover can be classified into the horizontal one and the vertical one.Our empirical study finds that it is not horizontal but vertical technology spillover that improves firm’s innovation.
