Abstract: The effect of the tourism industry in economic development is increasing.The paper explores China’s competitiveness of tourism industry by doing some research on its influencing facts.What’s more,the paper analyzes the basic situation of the competitiveness of tourism industry and studies the gaps in the competitiveness of the tourism industry among eastern,central and western China from tourism revenue,tourist person-time,tourism spending per tourist,tourism management conditions,tourism support conditions etc.,and analyzes the reasons behind the gap from three aspects including the business model,infrastructure and development environment in the end.〖
