Abstract: An effective and rapid way of individual fund-raising is essential to solve the problems in the new rural co-operative medical system in the western regions.In spite of the diverse way of fund-raising,the major way in the western regions is still confined to doorstep collecting.As the new rural co-operative medical system has entered a higher stage,a principle should be based on humanity,diversity,high-efficiency and convenience in the practice of individual fund-raising in the western regions.
