Abstract: The diversified settlement mechanism of intellectual property disputes under the background of the construction of free trade pilot zone needs to deal with the challenges brought by globalization,resolve the shortcomings in the traditional dispute resolution mechanism,and improve the protection system.As an alternative dispute resolution mechanism,expert adjudication is professional,flexible,effective and neutral.The introduction of this mechanism in the process of free trade zone construction is suitable for intellectual property disputes,which is helpful to improve the efficiency of dispute resolution,promote the circulation of production factors,maintain the cooperative relationship between enterprises,and finally promote the development of regional economy.In the process of the construction of expert adjudication mechanism,exemplary provisions should be formulated,the types of disputes applicable to expert adjudication and the effectiveness of expert adjudication clearly defined,the connection between expert adjudication and other dispute resolution mechanisms improved,the principle of expert selection clarified,and an expert database of intellectual property disputes established.
