Abstract: In Lectures on Kant's Political Philosophy,Arendt discusses the "aesthetic subject" and "aesthetic judgment" in Kant's Critique of Judgment. At the level of aesthetic subject, the diversity and communicability of aesthetic subject is the basis of aesthetic judgment. At the level of aesthetic judgment, aesthetic judgment requires universal recognition, which is formed with the help of common sense, without belief, concept or reason, therefore, from the perspective of aesthetic subject and aesthetic judgment,Arendt explores the relationship between aesthetics, universal identity and community construction, which forms the aesthetic turn of Arendt's political philosophy. In the current social context, the development of media technology has undertaken the construction of a new type of community, thus Kant-Arendt's thought of community and aesthetic governance needs to be extended in media science to form the media turn of Kant-Arendt community and aesthetic governance thought,to reshape the current significance of Arendt's political philosophy, and to be used to think about the media governance pattern of a community with a shared future for mankind and pluralism.
