Abstract: In this paper,the author introduces Nanning’s experience in promoting the unity of Chinese nationalities,holding that it is the theoretical expression of holism.Compared to the image of an elephant,the promotion of unity of nationalities is an indivisible whole,which is magnanimous,all-inclusive,and full of vigor.
