Abstract: Confucian aesthetics attaches much importance to human existence,and regards authentic existence here and now as the greatest aesthetic appeal and realm.According to Confucian aesthetics,the realm of benevolence is an authentic state of existence.Cherishing life and esteeming authentic existence,Confucian aesthetics emphasizes developing individual’s life consciousness.The process of reaching the realm of aesthetic benevolence actually is one to reveal authentic existence.
