摘要：主题是小说的灵魂，任何一部成功的小说都有明确而突出的主题，而不同题材的小说主题自是不同。《三国演义》作为历史演义，承继了自先秦以来即已形成的、悠久而厚重的、以史为鉴的历史传统，旨在通过叙述和反映三国时代的历史进程来揭示历史的分合、王朝的兴衰，进而表明统一是历史发展的总趋势，是人心所向。因此，《三国演义》当是表现以歌颂统一为核心，同时也反映历史分合和王朝兴衰的复合主题。

Abstract: Subject is the soul of a novel.Any successful novel,though might be different in subject,has its clear and protruding subject.As a historical novel,The Romance of the Three Kingdoms,by telling the stories of separation and unification during that time,has succeeded the long historical tradition since early Qin Dynasty to take history as a guide,and has made it clear that reunification is the historical trend the aspiration of people.Therefore,The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a masterpiece to sing for reunification,and it also shows a complex subject of separation and unification as well as rise and fall of dynasties.
