Abstract: With development of modern society,modern transition has occurred in the ways of intergenerational communication.From content of their communication,the pass of the elders’ knowledge and experience and the “cultural feedback”of the youth in the modern society coexist.From the forms of communication,the intergenerational communication in modern society is a two-way communication.From the status of communication subjects,the intergenerational communication in modern society is developing in the direction of equality.The existence of intergenerational differences may lead to cultural conflicts between generations:differences and conflicts on cultural ideas,conflicts on ways of cultural passage,conflicts on cultural pattern especially on classical culture and pop culture.Pattern of cultural communication should be reconstructed based on understanding and equal communication in order to promote harmonious intergenerational communications.
