《驯悍记》在中国舞台上的本土化探析——以上海人艺《驯悍记》和陕西人艺《驯悍记》为例

摘要:《驯悍记》是莎士比亚早期的一部喜剧作品,自清末传入中国后,多次被排练并上演。在第一届莎士比亚戏剧节上演的两出《驯悍记》中,上海人艺极具现代特色的《驯悍记》和陕西人艺对原著的忠实呈现形成鲜明对比。而就这部戏剧在中国的本土化来说,陕西人艺《驯悍记》因其内化的中国属性,演绎方式更为可取。

Abstract: The Taming of the Shrew is one of Shakespeare’s early comedies,which has been performed many times since it was introduced into China in the late of the Qing Dynasty.In terms of faithfulness to the original work,there is a sharp contrast in the performance by People’s Theater of Shanghai and Shanxi respectively during the first Festival of Shakespeare’s Dramas.Due to its internalized Chinese characteristics,the performance by Shanxi is more localized and may be more acceptable.
