摘要/Abstract

摘要：2003年社区矫正在我国的正式提出并设立第一批试点地区，表明我国刑罚制度的发展进入了一个新的时期。对于经济文化相对落后的民族社区而言，其社区矫正工作的开展与实施应与非民族社区有所区别，要在坚持民族平等和民族团结的基础上，探索出其有民族特色的刑罚制度，化解社会矛盾，促进民族社区的和谐发展。

Abstract: 2003 saw the formal proposal of community-based correction and the first experimental zone,which showed that the penalty system in our country has developed into a new era.For the ethnic community where economy and culture is relatively backward,the community-based correction should be different from other communities.Grounded on equality and unity among ethnic groups,we should explore the penalty system with Chinese characteristics and lessen social conflicts to boost the harmonious development in ethnic communities.
