摘要：郭象哲学是中国思想史上对儒道的第一次成功的综合和超越,其个体主义本体论、认识论、人生观、社会历史观和美学思想对于中国主流思想具有极大的异质性、否定性、独创性，这使得郭象成为中国古代个体主义思想潜流的代表人物。其历史地位和价值在今天才真正开始显现出来。

关键词： 整体主义, 个体主义, 中体西用, 西体中用, 中西互为体用

Abstract: Guoxiang’s philosophy made the first success in integrating and surpassing Confucianism in Chinese ideological history.It involves individualism ontology,epistemology,philosophy on life,social-historical view,and aesthetic concept,challenging the mainstream ideology of that time with its heterogeneity,negativity and originality.Therefore Guoxiang became a representative of individualism in ancient China.The significance of Guoxiang’s philosophy has emerged nowadays when Chinese people are striving for modernization.
