摘要/Abstract

摘要：评述了建国后史学界对戊戌变法运动的几种观点,辩析了戊戌变法作为改良主义运动具有两面性。但它所起的历史作用是进步的,它具有资产阶级民主革命的本质。我们应从当时历史条件出发去理解维新派在变法中的软弱性。

Abstract: This paper comments several viewpoints on the Reform Movement of 1898 put forward by historians after the founding of the People's Republic of China,and analyses the dual nature of the movement,with the conclusion that the movement is of a bourgeois democratic revolutionary nature and is historically progressive,and that the weakness and limitation of the reformists should be interpreted in the light of the then historical conditions.
