摘要：薛姨妈是《红楼梦》着墨不多的次要人物, 以往的评论往往忽视她特殊的身份处境而使该形象研究存在显而易见的偏差。本文认为薛姨妈是个全书并不多见的随和善良的贵族妇女, 同时又是个颇有头脑的薛府当家太太,明乎此将有助于准确把握薛姨妈形象的丰富内涵。

Abstract: Aunt Xue is one of the less important Characters in the classical novel A Dream of Red Mansions ,who is often biased in the past reviewing articles owing to a neglect of her special status in the Jia family.The author of this paper holds that Aunt Xue is a kind and good-natured lady as well as a talented mistress of the Xue family Only by keeping this in mind can one have a correct understanding of this rich-contented literary figure.
