Genesis,Representation,and Consolidation:A Historical Materialist Exegesis of Chinese Cultural Subjectivity

Abstract:

The consolidation of Chinese cultural subjectivity constitutes a foundational imperative for advancing cultural prosperity,forging a culturally robust nation,and perpetually enriching the morphology of human civilization.Guided by the dialectical principle of"the unity of logic and history" intrinsic to historical materialism,we posit that praxis—human practical activity—serves as the ontological ground from which cultural subjectivity originates.The genesis,maturation,and historical trajectory of Chinese cultural subjectivity are thus apprehended as processes fundamentally rooted in the dynamic interplay between social being and social consciousness,themselves anchored in material production,and as processes wherein the people emerge as the ultimate agents of historical creation.To predicate subjectivity of culture is,in its essence,to imbue culture with distinctly human attributes and agential capacities.Furthermore,this subjectivity manifests through a singular aesthetic character,a posture of intrinsic confidence,a resolve of unyielding steadfastness,and a horizon of expansive inclusivity—constellations that constitute its primary representational forms.Retrospectively,prospectively,and grounded in contemporary reality,the continuous consolidation of this subjectivity enables the cultivation of novel cultural organisms.Reciprocally,the emergence and flourishing of these new cultural organisms reinforce the very subjectivity from which they spring.The sustained cultivation of such organisms necessitates a framework that enshrines the Party's cultural leadership as its cardinal guarantee,centers the people's agential role as its endogenous logic,advances the "second integration"—integrating Marxism with China's fine traditional culture—as its necessary trajectory,and champions the building of a human community with a shared future as its definitive signature.
