The Political Writing of "9/11 Literature" by Diaspora Writers of South Asian Origin

Abstract: After the terror attacks on Sep.11,2001,literature has become an effective field for diaspora writers of the South Asian origin to fight for the right of international discourse,so literary creation of related themes inevitably contains political implications while retaining literary value.Under the background of the clashof civilizations,South Asian diaspora writers have to jump out of the shackles of political context on literary discourse and find a balance between the authenticity of historical narrative and the fiction of literary creation.At the same time,they have weakened the presupposition of political discourse on the situation of characters.Starting with the details of image shaping,they have enriched the personalization and group features of characters,and avoided character stereotype.In addition,the diaspora writers have separated themselves from the American writers' trauma narratives with dual identities,and demonstrated the possibility and path of the reverse occurrence of trauma process.
