Abstract: The Taoist is very common belief in Guigang region and the cultural phenomena is closely associated with secular culture.According to available materials,this paper attempts to make a study on Taoist in Guigang and explain the cultural thinking of the de-sanctification,which originates from the secular ethics orientation,the instrumental rationality,the market economic system,and the state power’s intervention,etc.
