On the Euqal Thoughts of Peole in “The Doctrine of Mean” by Zhu Xi

Abstract: Zhu Xi’s interpretation on heavenly destiny,the foundation of nature,spiritual cultivation and the relationship between heaven and secular world all emphasize the common fate facing both human beings and nature.It also signifies the different essence in these two angles,which requires each one to endow different restraints and contracts in accordance with their own fate.The purpose is only one,namely to actualize the harmony between human and nature.It also embodies the thought that human and all creatures are equal.And this thought should be the basis to advocate the harmony and unity between human and nature.
