An Analysis on the Discrepancy in Urbanization Level and the Corresponding Strategies and Countermeasures of Adjustment within a Province region——Taking Hunan Province as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: Urbanization level in an area is the reflection of the comprehensive strength of it.Based on the comprehension of the connotation of urbanization,this paper establishes the indicator system to evaluate the urbanization level.By means of software SPSS11.0,it selects main factors influencing urbanization level of regions in Hunan Province through principal component analysis and calculates the comprehensive scores on urbanization of different regions.According to the comprehensive scores the urbanization level in Hunan Province is divided into four levels in this paper.Finally,some strategies and countermeasures to adjust urbanization discrepancy among the regions in Hunan Province have been put forward.
