Abstract:  Literary reception is one of the important factors that influence literary composing.Foreign literary has a great impact on Lao She’s writing and that’s multi-cultural literary reception.Charles Dickens — the great realist had a deep influence on Lao She’s choice of theme.Lao She also chose common  residents of Beijing as his main objects of writing just like Dickens’ writing about the ordinary people in London.Both of the two reflected the corruption of reality,exposed social problems and then criticized those phenomenon.
