Abstract: The question that whether China,one of the ancient countries with a great civilization in the world has its own national religion or not,is long neglected and in suspense.This paper adopts the view that the traditional patriarchal religion is the national religion in China’s ancient class society,and demonstrates this from the primitive religion to the traditional patriarchal religion.
