On the Significance of Governance of Yellow Emperor's Four Canons(or Four Classics of Huangdi)

Abstract: Yellow Emperor's Four Canons (or Four Classics of Huangdi) is the foundation of the study of Huangdi (Yellow Emperor) and Lao Tzu.It is based on Tao,refining Chinese culture before it and has formed a unique system of governance.“Longli Zhonghe”(emphasizing rite and law in state governance),the core of the book,presents a rational thought in check and balance and lays a solid foundation of governance for the dynasties,which is significant in China's scientific development and the practice of rule of law today.
