Abstract: The breakthrough development of digital technology has elevated people's living standards and restructured the fundamental paradigm of human existence.However,in Western post-industrial societies,when digital technology transcends the boundaries of instrumental rationality and intrudes into private spheres,social structures,and value judgment systems,its emancipate potential is gradually eroded by dominance,giving rise to a series of digital paradoxes that impede the realization of human freedom.Characterized by multi-dimensional intertwining and deep concealment,freedom predicaments in the digital age cover two paired contradictions:the breach of privacy security and the loss of individual autonomy caused by algorithmic discipline,as well as the erosion of social equality by the digital divide and the deprivation of subjective freedom by digital labor alienation.Essentially,these predicaments stem from the transformation of human subjectivity into instrumental tools of human subjectivity and the continuous shrinkage of independent free space under the collusion of technological rationality and capital logic.Therefore,guided by Marx's view of freedom,it is necessary to regulate digital technology application,optimize algorithmic governance,and balance capital-labor relations,thereby restoring the essence of technology serving humanity and ultimately overcoming the multidimensional freedom predicaments.
